For years, my passion has always been health and wellness but it has taken me years to try to “bring to life” everything I have been involved in. My career began in 1993 as a Respiratory Therapist in Boston, MA. This experience was extremely rewarding and fueled my desire to make an impact on others lives. This was the beginning of my journey…I knew I couldn’t stop here.

In 2001 I ran the Boston Marathon with the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge Team; it was a run for a great cause and I wanted to see if I could train my mind and body to complete 26.2 miles. I have always tried to exercise, eat well and stay in shape, but had never pushed my body to those limits. I enjoyed every step of the way and was pleasantly surprised at what you can train your body to do. After accomplishing this goal, I decided to go for it again in 2002.

My passion for living a healthy life, learning how whole food can fuel our bodies and minds, and a personal goal of getting in the best shape of my life as I was turning 40, led me to where I am today. I am a certified personal trainer, as well as a certified Eat to Perform Coach and in 2010 I trained and competed in my first fitness competition. Since then I have had 5 top five wins and in 2016 I won 1st place in over 35 bikini model.

My love of helping others, staying fit as a busy mom of two boys, and always striving to eat healthy, drew me to a company that had a great product, and was ready to be taken to the next level! my desire for quality nutrition for my family, gave me the passion I needed to bring a quality product to the masses; Flex Bar and Snack Company will be the vehicle to accomplish this. Our products are Non- GMO, Gluten Free, Vegan, and No Sugar-Added, with a handful of ingredients that are nutritious and your body knows how to break it down. Lindsay Ford is the Registered Dietitian at Tapestry Eating Disorder Program in Brevard, North Carolina as well as the Registered Dietitian for Power Speed Endurance, an online fitness and training program. In addition to her roles at Tapestry and PSE, Lindsay has a passion for helping individuals reach their fullest potential through the support and power of food. She has over nine years practical experience working with individuals primarily in sustainable weight loss, eating disorders, endurance specific training and sports including soccer, football, golf, and gymnastics. Personally, Lindsay has experience as a Division I soccer player at Ball State University and is currently married and has one “puppy child” named Carl.
